For day or weekend sails, The Solent provides the ideal waters on which to sail, protected in any weather conditions. It also provides a huge range of waterside restaurants, pubs and other social opportunities for evenings spent ashore.
For longer cruises the River Hamble is an excellent starting point for a voyage to France, the Channel Islands or Cornwall and the West Country.
You will be in the safe and experienced hands of skipper, Kathy Claydon, who holds the highly respected YachtMaster (Ocean) qualification with a commercial endorsement. The yacht has been inspected and certificated according to the stringent safety criteria of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) and has been awarded a Category Two certificate of safety and seaworthiness.
Highlights of the 2008 cruising season include:
June/July: Cruises to France, Ireland and/or Channel Islands
July: Solent cruise and enjoy the spectacle of the fantastic classic Metre Class yachts Regatta
August: West Country cruises and regattas
October: Turkey
Pricing will depend on the amount of supervision and training required, the duration and distance covered by the cruise and the season. Prices for individual bookings start from £70 per person per day and introductory and trial offers may be available. Whole boat charter is more economical and gives you the opportunity to plan, with a group of colleagues, family or friends a cruise tailored to suit you.
